Today was another pretty long day, over the Jochpass, down a loooong valley and into Meiringen. Nothing much to report. Other than at breakfast where I had a nice chat with the Swiss proprietor, I had little interaction with other people. That is fine – it provides time for reflection. As I was arriving in Meringen, there was a massive storm in the mountains. Constant thunder and lightening. It was nothing I would want to be caught in.
After such a long day it is a bit late and I dont have much to blog about tonight. I will try to do better tomorrow.
Speaking of tomorrow, the destination is Grindelwald – home of the Eiger, the Jungfrau, and the Mönch, three of the most well known mountains in Switzerland. Remember the Clint Eastwood movie, The Eiger Sanction? Some of you are too young to have seen it. Look for it at Blockbuster or on Netflix. Good movie.
the picture of your friend with the snake last night did turn out. also good job with not taking the bus
